Frequently Asked Questions

Can I buy just the frame of prescription glasses?

Yes, in our prescription glasses both from the brand collection and the outlet/vintage section. All our frames can be purchased without needing to choose lenses. Add the frame you like to the shopping cart and complete your payment without selecting any type of lens. All frames will come with plastic lenses from the brand.
For our sunglasses, it is not possible to order just the frame.

Can I put non-prescription lenses in my glasses?

Yes. Many people use non-prescription glasses. Either as a fashion accessory or for protection.

To choose your non-prescription glasses, first select the frame you prefer, and click the choose lenses button. There you will need to select NO PRESCRIPTION and choose whether you want any treatment (anti-reflective, sun, blue light…) or not.

The non-prescription lenses from gafasdeoptica.com are organic and of the highest quality to protect your vision and your eyes.

Can I put sunglass lenses in a prescription glasses frame?

Yes. If you like a frame but it belongs to the prescription glasses category, don’t worry. When you select your lenses, there is an option to choose sunglasses lenses, whether prescription or non-prescription.

Are the glasses in the outlet/vintage section new?

These are completely new glasses, from previous collections or with only one unit left in stock. That’s why it’s the perfect option to get designer glasses at a very reduced price. Since we only have one unit per model, returns are not accepted in this category.

Can I get prescription lenses for my sunglasses?

In most cases, yes. This will depend on the size of the lens or screen of the glasses. In this case, we recommend contacting us and telling us which sunglasses model you would like to have prescription lenses for.

If you are referring to a prescription glasses frame, you can put your prescription lens with sun treatment without any problem.

Are the replacement parts original?

All our replacement parts are 100% original. From any brand, both for prescription and sunglasses.

Why is the numbering of my spare parts different from what it used to be?

Many manufacturers use different codes to classify replacement glasses. This does not mean they are not original; they are exactly the same as those that came with the glasses originally.
